Toby Coleman, Saskatchewan outfitter, wins Golata Award

In February, Saskatchewan outfitter, Toby Coleman, was awarded the 2009 Golata Award as the Outstanding Outfitter of the Year at the Wild Sheep Foundation Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. The award is presented to an outstanding member of the outfitting industry in North America. In 1971, Toby entertained his first hunting client. A member of the RCMP at the time, Toby came into outfitting by accident, but over the years, secured a solid client base for his fledgling hunting business. In 1995, Toby retired from law enforcement and became a full-time outfitter. Toby’s Trophy Treks is based out of Sunnyside Beach at Emma Lake.
