Print and Web Listings
Every year, Tourism Saskatchewan updates the product listings on our consumer website at www.sasktourism.com and the content in each of its major publications. The turnaround document sent to businesses and attractions each spring forms the basis of the print/web listings. The current 2012 publications are:
• Saskatchewan Discovery Guide (includes Accommodations, Resorts, Campgrounds, as well as Attractions and Events)
• Saskatchewan Fishing & Hunting Guide
• The Perfect Drive: Saskatchewan Golf Vacations
Up-to-date information is crucial to the success of these guides and the online product listings. When you receive your turnaround document in the spring, please ensure it is updated with 2013 information and returned by the deadline date of June 1, 2012. In accordance with current print and web listing guidelines, most tourism businesses can purchase an enhanced print/web package listing which includes a listing in print and a detailed listing with web link and photo gallery on our websites. Tourism Saskatchewan members pay only half the rate charged to non-members to list their business in the appropriate Tourism Saskatchewan travel publication or for a listing on Tourism Saskatchewan’s consumer website.
Events receive free listings on Tourism Saskatchewan’s consumer site. Click here to access the online event submission form.
Tourism Saskatchewan is committed to quality assurance. The implementation of a Quality Assurance Program for the province’s tourism sector is one of seven goals identified in Tourism Saskatchewan’s Three-Year Business Plan. One of the first steps involves the development of an official Complaints Procedure for Tourism Saskatchewan. Updates to the 2012 Fishing & Hunting Guide
Tourism Saskatchewan is pleased to announce that the 2011 re-design of the Fishing & Hunting Guide continued through the 2012 publication. The 2012 guide includes new promotional articles, layout, and overall design. As part of the changes, outfitters were encouraged to submit a photo of their property or business to be included with their listing, free of charge. In addition, operators had the opportunity to purchase an 'up-sized' lisiting with increased display space.
