Travel Trade FAM Tours

The area of Travel Trade focuses on promoting Saskatchewan as a destination to tour professionals throughout North America and within some markets internationally.

Our ultimate goal is to have Saskatchewan itineraries and travel packages included in travel brochures which are promoted and distributed to consumers looking to book their next travel experience.

The best way we can do this is to have travel influencers, such as tour operators and travel agents, come and experience the product we have to offer first hand. We do this through what is called a Familiarization tour (FAM tour). FAM tours allow the travel influencer to experience what their clients will be experiencing. In addition, it gives them the confidence and knowledge when they are promoting the product – what better way to sell a destination! FAM tours are hugely valuable and provide immense opportunity to get your product noticed.
