Cliff Speer

Mr. Cliff Speer has been active in the tourism industry since 1990, when he formed his adventure training and tour company, CanoeSki Discovery Company.  Prior to that, he was involved in teaching high school, working in commercial insurance, and taking a short fling at freelance writing and photography.  All of these disparate career paths have provided skills that Cliff finds useful in running his outdoor adventure operation.

Saskatoon-based CanoeSki Discovery Company is best described as “Saskatchewan's premier eco-adventure company,” specializing in wilderness canoeing and cross-country skiing instruction and tours.  Canoe tours range from day tours on southern waterways, such as the South Saskatchewan River, to multi-day trips on northern waterways, such as the Churchill, and also touching down in P.A. National Park in between.  History, archaeology, culture, and like themes are developed by on-board resource experts to help participants learn about and connect with the environment they travel through.
