Denise Stroeder
Ms. Denise Stroeder graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in physical geography. She began working for the Mid Sask CFDC/REDA (now Mid Sask CFDC/ER), in Outlook in the fall of 2002 as a GIS Technician and has since moved under the WaterWolf project umbrella. Denise, along with fellow co-workers, is working towards a formal planning commission within their region, concentrating on a 30-year land-use plan to build capacity of the region and make it more “investment-ready” for future development.
For more than three years, Denise sat on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan West Central Tourism Region, serving a two-year term as Chair. She is currently Chair of Lake Diefenbaker Tourism, where she has been a Director for almost seven years. Born and raised in Beechy, Denise has a deep attachment to Lake Diefenbaker and area. She enjoys her involvement with the tourism sector and forges new alliances between the numerous municipalities in the Mid Sask and WaterWolf regions. Denise is excited to be part of the next wave of development in this part of Saskatchewan.
