Kathy Palidwar

Ms. Kathy Palidwar built Northern Greens Resort in Nipawin and monitors daily business as Owner/Manager.  The Resort has successfully created new tourism and economic development markets and attracts corporate and recreational groups year round for an “all inclusive experience”.  In the past nine years, her business has been nominated for several awards, both provincially and nationally.

Kathy’s education and skill set includes Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Social Work, Accounting and Economic Development certificates, and Journeyperson status for Guest Services in the Hospitality sector.  Her Board of Directors experience includes Tourism Saskatchewan, Clarence Campeau Development Fund, Gabriel Dumont Institute, and Saskatchewan Research Council.  Kathy is currently running for a municipal council position.

Kathy and her husband Gary have raised three children in Nipawin.  Gary owns and manages the RONA retail store in Nipawin, as well as contracting businesses.  They are both very active community members.
