Mark Caswell

Mr. Mark Caswell was born and raised in Saskatchewan.  He grew up on a farm 30 kilometres northwest of Swift Current, where his mother and father continue to reside.  Mark received a certificate in local government administration from the University of Regina and, upon graduation, accepted the position of Executive Director of the T.rex Discovery Centre in Eastend.  The role offered Mark his first foray into the tourism sector.  Once “bitten” by the tourism “bug,” he became more deeply involved in regional and provincial initiatives.  He was elected to the Saskatchewan Southwest Tourism Association Board of Directors in 2002, and served as Chair for the past three years.  Currently, he is involved in the Cypress Hills Destination Area Planning Committee and looks forward to the exciting work and developments ahead.  Mark and his family moved to Maple Creek in 2005, where he is employed as the Town’s Chief Administrator.
