Moe Mathieu

Mr. Moe Mathieu is the Chef/Owner of White Birch Catering in Saskatoon.  He is also a Culinary Instructor at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) – Saskatchewan’s primary public institution for post-secondary technical education and skills training.  Mr. Mathieu is an honours graduate from the Culinary Institute of Canada and holds a Journeyman Red Seal for cooking.  He is a co-owner and former Chef of the Willow on Wascana and Beer Brothers restaurants in Regina.  He represented Saskatchewan at the 2010 Canadian Chefs’ Congress and is a Board Member for Local Bounty, a group committed to forging relationships among producers, chefs and the general public to strengthen local food economies in Saskatchewan through advocacy, promotions, and special events focusing on great, local food.  Mr. Mathieu was the Chef/Mentor of the pop-up restaurant, Cultivate, located at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market.
