Richard Lemon
Mr. Richard Lemon has over 30 years of experience in the tourism/hospitality industry and most recently was Vice-President of Operations for Tourism British Columbia with direct responsibilities for visitor services and sales, tourism product management, training services, and information technology.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Richard has extensive experience in tourism development, specializing in visitor servicing and labour market development. He was responsible for the creation of the SuperHost™ Program, which has become a standard for tourism/hospitality training both in Canada and internationally and has assisted the industry with a number of successful professional development and human resources initiatives.
Richard has been an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria and currently teaches in an MBA Program at Simon Fraser University in connection with the Salzburg Business School in Austria. He is currently serving on the board of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and Go2 – The Resource for People in Tourism.
