Richard Rumberger

Mr. Richard Rumberger has been the CEO of the Candle Lake Golf Resort, a developing world-class lakeside resort, since 2003.  He also holds the title of CEO with the Candle Lake Utilities Ltd., where he developed the only certified water and sewer treatment system in Candle Lake.  Additional roles include member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee with Impax Energy Services Income Trust, and former Chair and board member of the Alberta Blue Cross.

Richard is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Saskatchewan and Alberta and also holds a Professional A Teachers Certificate.  In 1973, he received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan.  In 1979, he was on the honour roll at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, with a fifth place standing in Canada.  That same year, he received the gold medal from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan and in 2001, he received his FCA designation.
